Peaches and Paris, Oh My!

We got word that Peaches was in town and decided to fulfill her Make Believe wishes by presenting her with a glossy blue rose

Looking fabulous in her Birthday Suit by the Kingpins and our gift of gratitude, Peaches went ahead and invited us to her show in Sydney last Friday night.  We would not usually grace the lines of Home night club, but seeing as we were dressed to the nines (as per usual), the que was not in our cards.  Being escorted in and straight backstage, we met up with the little wonder.  Peaches took to the stage like a true Berlin party animal and the crowd roared as she gave them an excuse to move their feet and shake what their mamas gave 'em.

And of course, if you know anything about me, you know that I would never say no to jumping on stage to bust a move.  And yes, I lunged onstage to dance with the sweaty spandex dancers and I lunged at the bottle of Moet too.  Forgive me, I am human.

Afterwards, Ebony and I jetted back to the Paris is Burning house party which got us in the mood for more dancing and vogueing.  Though our outfits were made to salute the legendary NYC glamour Balls back in the day, they did make us look like we just stepped out of a Prince video.

At the end of the night, we were left feeling nothing less that SA-TIS-FIED!!!

We love you Peaches and we love you suede two pieces!!!

Gay Bash? Yes Please, With Sugar on Top!

You know those nights when you hit the town...hard!? You just seem to be having so much fun that you forget that other people exist.  Well the last Gay Bash here in Sydney was a little like that.   We got all dulled up like baby animals for the Spring Fling party in true dress up spirit, gathered forces at Cameron and Ai's leaving party and hit the party at Kings Cross.

Pictures only show evidence of what we know to be true...we were all having a freaking riot!  Not sure if anyone else was dressed up and not sure if we offended anyone?!?  But forgive us for having one of those selfish nights where all you wanna do is show off your moves and laugh your butt off!

As always, thank you Gay Bash for giving us an excuse to lose our minds, our dignity and whatever else it was that we lost and cannot seem to remember!!! Until next time....

Melbourne or Bust

Just when we thought we were heading on a Thelma and Lousise meets Make Believe road trip, things fell apart, the car was a no go and no one would lend us their Ferrari....Boo!  So the ease and convenience of packing our large window installation for Fat in the boot of the car was also a no go.  Instead, we got creative, told the airline it was sports equipment and packed up the letters in a very stealth manner.

Once in Melbourne, we put the pieces back together and got the installation up with the help, style and grace of Bianca and Ben at Fat.

So the window was glowing and we were ready to take to the town.   Straight to the Madam Virtue exhibition down Crossley Street where our friends were waiting and the champagne was a flowing.  We were so happy to catch up with Bryan Boy again, as so much has happened since we last met up with him during Tokyo Fashion week.  And we mustn't forget some of our favorite bloggers...the gorgeous Fashion Hayley, the genius Matt Imelda, the glamorous Lady Melbourne and of course the lovely Melanie Hick at The Vine.

And rushing rushing to get back to the studio insanity of Sydney, we got a little lost on the way to the airport and just barely caught the plane.  No thanks to the ladies in the back seat!

Goodbye Melbourne!  And don't you miss us, we will be back very soon!
